VOODOO
Ever since “Hero Sandwich” came out, readers have been begging to see Cougar’s younger brother get his happy ending. In “Voodoo,” an e-book from Loose Id, Lynx finally finds the woman of his dreams.
Lynx meets Voodoo when he saves her from a brutal super-villain attack. The two form an immediate attraction, but Lynx is too much a gentleman to pursue it. Voodoo decides to take matters into her own hands. And since she’s powerful telepath and telekinetic with the ability to make others experience any sensation she wants, her approach is decidedly erotic….

Mad Dog Love - Shifter Anthology
When Cindy Hwang at Berkley asked me to do a werewolf story for a new anthology called Shifter, I decided I wanted to do something completely different. The result is one of my favorite novellas out of the more than 20 I’ve written.
Rance Conlan is a technological werewolf, a product of advanced technology rather than magic. He was created to survive on a world that would kill any mere human.
But when Rance is captured by slavers from an interstellar empire, they find a way to turn his powers against him. To his rage, he finds himself collared, stripped, and paraded before would-be buyers, unable to shift and escape.
Empress Zarifa Lorezo needs a man like Rance to protect her from assassins. A royal on the run, she knows she’s dead if she’s captured. But what she doesn’t realize is that Rance may be just as dangerous as the killers on her tail…

Dragon Dance - Beyond the Dark Anthology
I grew up reading comic books – in fact, my first published work was a comic. So when I got the chance to do something a little different for the Berkley anthology Beyond the Dark, I knew just what I wanted to do.
Hostage negotiator Arial Dean is a veteran when it comes to talking unbalanced kidnappers out of hurting loved ones. But even she is horrified when she discovers her newest case involves a hostage taker with super powers who is threatening to incinerate his wife, children, and half the cops in James County, South Carolina.
In desperation, Sheriff Bill Davis calls on Tracker, a Federal agent with superpowers of his own. Since Hypers -- people with powers -- began appearing five years before, the U.S. government has had to find ways to deal with them. Tracker is one of the government’s go-to-guys when it comes to dealing with Hypers.
But when the case goes bad, Arial’s association with Tracker becomes a lot more personal.

Taming Jack
After his sister is murdered, motorcycle cop Jack Ramsey is determined to do whatever it takes to
catch her killer. When he learns the man has been possessed by a demonic alien that gives him
superhuman powers, Jack decides to let himself be possessed by a Paladin, an energy being which
swears to give him powers of his own.
Embarking on his hunt, Jack turns his back on the woman he loves. But Lark Anderson isn't
willing to give up on Jack - even if it means she has to embrace her own psychic invader.
Because if she and her new ally don't do something, Jack will be destroyed by the very evil he stalks.

Wake Me
I have a confession to make: I loved those old 1980s bodice rippers. Pirates and captured princesses,
knights and ladies -- they were politically incorrect fun. That's why I wrote an entire novella
around my favorite storylines for Secrets Volume 11.
In "Wake Me," photographer Chloe Hart is bewildered when someone she doesn't know sends her a
painting of a sleeping medieval knight.
What she doesn't know is the painting is magical. Its handsome subject, Sir Radolf of Varik,
has been under a curse for eight hundred years.
To escape his enchanted sleep, Radolf must enter the dreams of women and attempt to seduce
them into falling in love with him. Only if one of them enters the painting and kisses him can he wake.
Chloe seems the answer to Radolf's prayers - but as they explore her dream fantasies, both
soon discover the witch who holds him captive has no intention of letting him go.

Hero Sandwhich
Hero Sandwich is a story in Loose Id's Valentine's anthology, Hard Candy. I've always had
a thing for superheroes, and in this story, I let my imagination run wild. Meg is Paparazzi,
former bad girl turned shutterbug on the trail of a superhero team, Cougar and Lynx.
But soon Meg realizes she's bitten off more than she can chew...

Stranded
"Stranded" is one of my books for Loose Id and is one of my favorite pieces of kink. Be warned:
if you think my Berkley books are too steamy, this one will take the wallpaper off the walls.
I've always loved the idea of being stranded on a deserted island with a handsome barbarian.
In Alex Kenyon's case, she finds herself transported from her own bed to an alien artificial world, where she must depend on a gorgeous Marine to survive.
This story is also included in Loose-Id's anthology, Romance on the Edge.

Dark One
"The Dark One" is another of the stories I wrote under the pen name Victoria Michaels, this one for Changeling. Be warned -- it's not for the faint of heart.
Matia of Ruza is one of the legendary Battlemaids – a woman warrior who has taken an oath of celibacy in service of the Maid of Light.
When mercenary Kaska of Artane helps Matia defeat a gang of brigands, the two become partners.
Matia finds her oath of celibacy tested by her handsome Shieldmate's erotic appeal. But Kaska means to do more than test it. He worships the Dark One, and he wants to make Matia the centerpiece in a sizzling erotic ritual in honor of his god.
But first, he must defeat her in combat – and win her heart.
