Master of Dragons received a Top Pick from Romantic Times and has been nominated for an RT Critics Choice award for Best Shapeshifter. I must admit, it’s a personal favorite of mine. Readers fell in love with the shape-shifting dragon Kel in Master of Swords, and they seemed really pleased to see him get his sequel.
So was I. Kel is one of those wonderful smart-ass characters I love writing. When I made him the hero of Master of Dragons, he got even hotter.
His heroine is Nineva Morrow, a half-breed fairy-princess who has lived her entire life in hiding from an evil Sidhe king. To make matters worse, she’s living under a prophesy that she will be incinerated by a blue dragon in order to free a goddess from a curse.
Kel, of course, is a blue dragon, and she initially wants nothing to do with him. At least, until she meets his handsome human form, and discovers he’s not only gorgeous – he’s also heroic and determined to help her.
Kel and Nineva soon have their hands full dealing with killer Sidhe and demons from another universe. When they first meet, in fact, Nineva is doing battle with Arralt, a vicious Sidhe warrior. At stake is a sword that has imprisoned the goddess Semira for thousands of years.
